A gig on Friday 30th June. The event starts at 19:00.

Manchester-based Twin Complex hits up Bristol for the first time, joined by local elect pals Mass House with a selection of DJs to follow.

Twin Complex is a Manchester-based electronic artist. As a producer, he weaves between, propulsive techno, cinematic soundscapes and trance-infected IDM with a tactful balance of surefire technicality and considered nuance. A sense of duality is at the heart of his practice, often pairing modern production techniques with vintage synths and tape processing. The project has seen a full-length debut ‘The Distance Between Us All’, released in 2020, and a follow-up single ‘Phantoms’ in 2021. In a live context, he regularly DJs in Manchester and beyond, and is developing a live set that will emphasise and reinforce his creative outlook.

Joining in support are local two-piece Mass House, who blend a unique concoction of electronic music and post-punk. Using a selection of synths and drum pads, Mass House creates squelching bass lines with chaotic decoration led by repetitive, chanting vocals.

Bendy Wendy is a DJ from Bristol that treats the decks much like a chef treats their dishes. Watch them conjure sounds from the aether and bathe in the unholy broth of queer dance music.
