Join us for a special screening of A Sin De Fella Story (2024), a heartwarming observational documentary directed by Palestinian-Colombian filmmaker Sheryn Yidi. Part of this years Blue Moon lineup, this film takes an intimate look at the life of Christo "Sin de Fella," a trailblazing figure who has transformed the lives of those around her.
From her roots in a conservative mining town, Christo embraced her true self and became the driving force behind YardArts, a vibrant community and sanctuary for travellers, artists, and free spirits of all backgrounds. Set against the backdrop of Kingswood, A Sin De Fella Story is a powerful exploration of identity, belonging, and the creation of a safe haven where creativity and diversity can flourish.
Produced by Normal Girl Productions, this documentary is a celebration of resilience, community, and the courage it takes to live authentically.
