Bloombox is a new immersive performance made by Many Minds members in partnership with Windmill Hill City Farm that will stimulate the senses and share stories of human-nature connection.
Using biosonification we have listened to the plants and collaborated with Brian d’Souza to create original music. Taking inspiration from mycelium networks we have made visible the invisible threads connecting us to nature and each other with Undergrowth Collective.
Join us to experience nature like never before, and break down the barriers between ourselves and the natural world.
It's time to bloom.
Many Minds is a member-led mental health and performance charity. We facilitate creative spaces and make performance that puts people with experiences of mental ill-health in the driving seat as a way to break down stigma, increase accessibility and trigger generosity and equality.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
Running Time : 1 hr
Content warning: Brief mention of difficult childhood, war, death, loss and grief.
Age Rating: suitable for ages 10+. Younger children and babies are welcome under your supervision, however the garden paths are not wide enough for buggies.
Audience access:

This is a promenade performance that takes place outside in the gardens on the farm, and includes walking along narrow paths, uneven ground and through a polytunnel. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring waterproof clothes if necessary. Photographs of the kinds of paths/performance areas are available here: {put a hyperlink to photos here}
We have 6 performance areas and will walk between these as part of the performance. In each location there will be a performance and participatory exercises will last around 5 mins. Audiences can stand or sit.
The performance includes electronic music, spoken text, scenes that are primarily visual and a collaborative art-installation building.
There is a wheelchair accessible toilet (see photos here: {put link to photos here}), and places to park a mobility scooter.

Bus stops are on Bedminster Parade: 52, 75, 76, 90, 121, 510, 511 and 672 all stop there.
The farm is 20-25 minutes walk from Temple Meads station and 8-10 mins walk from Bedminster Station.
Car Parking: There is on-street parking on nearby streets which is free after 5pm (please note you would need to pay before that).
Philip Street has free parking for Blue Badge holders. There is also a small car parking area at the farm for disabled drivers or drop off.
Entry requirements: no age restrictions
