Screening of PLANT POWER at Watershed
See event details

A event held at Watershed on Thursday 27th February. The event starts at 18:30.

Free event, but tickets are required for admission at the door.

Join us for a screening of a compelling film by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Florence Ayisi.

This thoughtful and uplifting documentary follows the journeys of a Bristolian Desi and other global majority individuals as they explore self-realisation through service to their communities.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A and discussion with Amrish Pandya, a central figure in the film. Amrish is the Co-Founder and Chair of The Bristol Rainforest, an organisation dedicated to “putting trees where they can make people happy.” Over the years, The Bristol Rainforest has delivered a range of inspiring projects with local schools and communities, enriching lives and fostering a deeper connection to nature.

This evening offers a chance to reflect on the power of community engagement and to explore how re-establishing our relationship with the natural world can help us shape a more harmonious and sustainable future.

Spaces are limited—reserve your place today and join us for an evening of meaningful conversation and inspiration.

Please note that this is not an official Watershed screening and will take place in the Pervasive Media Studio facilities located within Watershed.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
