Chungking Express Anniversary Screening at Watershed
£11.00 full / £8.50 concessions

A event held at Watershed on Thursday 1st May. The event starts at 18:00.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary since its release in the UK, we're bringing Wong Kar-Wai's (In the Mood for Love, Fallen Angels) masterpiece back to the big screen.

The film tells two stories of two melancholic Hong Kong policemen who are falling in love. One of these cops, named Qi-Wu, is also finding a way to reconcile his feelings towards a break-up with his girlfriend May, who broke up with him on 1st April.

He gives himself a month, and he measures the passing of time by buying a tin of canned pineapple everyday from his local convenience store. With the 1st May slowly approaching, will Qi-Wu come to terms with the breakdown of the relationship?

All will become clear with an appropriately dated 1st May screening of one of the greatest films of all time.
