In this highly anticipated debut from Laila Abbas, selected for the BFI London Film Festival 2024, two sisters have to put their differences aside to claim their inheritance when their father dies. The embattled pair have to work together against the patriarchal laws that might prevent them from receiving their inheritance. This stunning dark comedy has recently received well-deserved awards, including Best Arab Film at El Gouna Film Festival, and Best Director at Thessaloniki Film Festival.
This screening includes a Zoom Q&A with Laila Abbas.
