Filmmaker Talk: Getting your Short from Idea into Reality

Filmmaker Theo Watkins will be giving a masterclass in how to take the steps to get your own short film idea off the ground. Theo works across film, music video and documentary. He often uses pitch-black humour to dig into the uncomfortable absurd aspects of the human condition. His work has screened at festivals including LSFF, Leeds and Frightfest, with funding from IMDb Script to Screen Award, BFI Network and Random Acts.

Post-event Networking

Join us in the Café & Bar for the chance to network with other like-minded individuals and filmakers, discuss what you’ve seen, and meet your next creative collaborators.

This event is supported by the BFI Film Academy awarding National Lottery funding.
