Carnifølk Presents: Carving's Carnival at Volunteer Tavern
See event details

A event on Tuesday 25th July. The event starts at 19:00.

The Volunteer Tavern (The Volly) is a magical tavern just outside of the walls of Brycgstowe (now Bristol) located in the thick of the forest. Due to a crackdown on vagrants, buskers and anyone who refuses to conform to the Conservatorium’s new financial system the Volly has become a refuge and cultural melting pot of adventurers, magic people and outcasts alike.

The Volly thrives off the energy of its community and is one of the last inclusive establishments in the lands. It trades in a forbidden currency, Niblets, mystical coins whose value comes from the loving energy the giver puts into them. These are completely forbidden by the Conservatorium!

An ancient being Cousin Carving has emerged from the holy oak in hopes of reuniting his carnival troupe to spread love, joy and protest the oppressive powers afoot. Are you prepared to join?
