Muslim Perspectives on Grief and Bereavement at Uni of Bristol (Humanities Lecture Theatre, 7 Woodland Rd)
Event Cancelled

A event on Wednesday 13th May. The event starts at 10:00.

This event is part of Good Grief Bristol, A Festival of Love and Loss. 11-17 May 2020 (https://goodgriefbristol.com/).

This event will be a conversation between Muslim professionals who deal with end of life and grief, and a psychoanalytic psychotherapist. What can faith and religion provide during bereavement? What is the importance of rituals? How does culture help or interfere with grief?

We are thrilled that Rizwan Ahmed, Muslim Chaplain at the University of Bristol among many other things, and Dr Sabina Patel of the Muslim Bereavement Support Service (via remote link from London), will be joining this important conversation.
