On the 7th of February, Mireinart is pleased to present the course in TAROT READING with the Tarot De Marseille in its third edition. The first meeting will consist of an introduction to the historical background, the origins of the tarot and its uses and the tarot structure of the Tarot de Marseille (Major and Minor Arcana) in the form of a lecture. Limited places are offered to those who may be interested but prefer to eventually confirm their enrolment after this first meeting.
ABOUT THE COURSE:
The course aims to outline the origin of tarot cards which dates to the 14th century in Northern Italy where they were called triumphs and used for noble and sacred pursuits as well as for ludic/gambling purposes. The cards were depositories of important moral teachings belonging to the late medieval and renaissance culture but also inheritances of ancient knowledge. It is in the 17th century that the tarot, in particular the Tarot De Marseille, became popular as a tool for divination thanks to the work and hypotheses developed by French occultists, but not only! In the 20th century, then, the tarot cards were redesigned by the British occultists giving rise to some popular decks like the Raider-Waite and Crowley. The course will give an overview of the meanings of the Tarot de Marseille also in connection with other decks thus leaving the way open for those who use or wish to use other cards.
The course will provide also tarot spreads and reading techniques. The practice will consist of individual a group exercises where you will be encouraged in receiving readings and reading cards from others in a respectful and safe environment. The uses of the tarot are constantly evolving and since the last century, also with the emergence of psychology, they became a tool to complement therapy and for encouraging processes of personal evolution and development. The course is designed from the point of view of tarology, – an approach to tarot reading where the cards are conceived as symbolic-imaginative tools for inner development. The aim, therefore, is not teaching divination, but a method to be able to figure out and plan the future by relying on the power of archetypes.

Tarot is a powerful tool to expand your imagination, to increase interest in the deepest and most recondite aspects of human existence. It is also a tool for self-discovery that can increase self-confidence and improve our relationships. There is no experience or previous knowledge required for enrolment on this course. The classes are available for intellectually active, open mind and creative people of all backgrounds.
