FREE ENTRY ALL NIGHT! Come warm your heart with music & dance away the January cold.

This month we start off the night with a House-Jazz fusion dance class brought to you by wonderful Bristol dancer Sky. Suitable for all levels including beginners, this will be an introduction to House Dance and Jazz Footwork, looking at how the steps from these dances can be combined and incorporated into your usual dancing repertoire.

From 9-12 DJ Comprido is this month's special guest, joining host Katie Novo (Noods Radio) to spin a selection of Nu-Jazz, Broken Beat, Afrobeat, Brazilian Beats & Jazz infused House.

Sky started her dance journey young with the classic technique of ballet and contemporary dance. Later she fell in love with jazz music and Lindy hop, and is now digging deeper into the vernacular of solo jazz dancing, in addition to learning tap, be-bop, UK jazz and street style dancing such as house and hip hop.

In this dance class, she is excited to share some house and solo jazz steps and encourage self expression and improvisation.

Katie Novo has been collecting music & DJing for 25 years. She holds down radio residencies on Bristol's premier underground station Noods Radio and Brighton's 1BTN, and founded Counting Blessings to create a happy, welcoming space to let go & enjoy some sweet musical movement.
