AbCo is proud to present, LTD Press; launch event and exhibition.

To launch our new artist agency, LTD Press, we have selected an exciting and varied group of contemporary artists, considered to be the most promising from within the South West of England. Approaching themes around community wellness, localised poverty and the importance of non-for-profit community projects.

Held at the Loft Gallery space, Tobacco Factory, Bedminster, we will be working with local charities and businesses to provide support and spread awareness for people experiencing hardship in the local area. With help from Bristol Beer Factory's, Brew-To-Give scheme, we will be serving a range of beers, ciders and drinks to help raise funds for the cause, alongside Live music & immersive art.

In support of 2 amazing local charities; The St Pauls Foodbank, BS3, and the Suicide Prevention, Bristol, we will be collecting donations in the way of non perishable food items, cleaning products and essentials.

Since 2023 there has been a 94% increase in people receiving support from foodbanks. With over 3.1 million food parcels delivered in the past year, it is evident that foodbanks are remain vital channels of support for many during the cost of living crisis.

Suicide Prevention UK also provides vital support for those at risk or are in recovery from one of the biggest killers of vulnerable people in the UK. Over 72% of people who take their own lives have not received support from mental health organisations in the last year.

With the ongoing reduction of appropriate funding for the NHS and other organisations involved with mental health support, it is our job as a community to help spread awareness and promote access to these under appreciated, often volunteer led organisations.

So please join us on the Private View on Thursday 28th November to see our show and meet the artists, organisers, and members of the local BS3 community, to celebrate and promote these charities.
