Last month saw the return of one of our favourite guests - Steph aka DJ Sugarshaker and she did not disappoint!
Timbuk2 was heaving and a ruddy good night was had by all as standard.

This month sees us shine the spotlight on an up and coming star of the future, having played alongside the likes of Judge Jules, Stanton Warriors, Kate Lawler, MYNC Project, Bodyrox and more
His name is Michael Dunne and he's one to watch out for in 2014 which is why we have secured him for the latest episode in the WERK saga. Mikey has been a lover of music since his childhood, inspired by many different genres but when he discovered House music there was no going back!
This man's passion for the sound is really something special, almost obsessive even?! A hard-working grafter who has put in the blood, sweat and tears to get to where he is now, 2014 is destined to be his year. WERK are proud to welcome Mikey to Bristol for the very first time and excited about what he's going to dish out to the dance floor!
Also supporting this month, undoubtedly one of the nicest people you could ever want to meet and he's a pretty good DJ too. Local legend and all round good guy - Rich Dolby returns to WERK. It's been a while since Rich played for us due to his sabbatical and to say we are excited would be a bit of an understatement!

Michael Dunne Bio:
A House DJ and lover through and through, born and bread old school - turntables, belt driven, then progressing onto direct drive un-touchable platters and motors.
Mixing anything and everything in the early days from Jackson 5 into Armand van Helden, to acid house tracks into techno.
I learned old school, I learned old turntablism tricks, new turntablism tricks, I taught myself to mix without even touching the record, I was fascinated and persistent in pushing boundaries with turntables,I studied the game in and out, hour after hour, day after day, I did my research into where it all began, how it all started where it could be going and trends in which people follow.
After following the evolution into the digital era I do now enjoy getting creative with beats and software with traktor and controllers, but, will always love the feel of vinyl....
Music is my love and my passion and something I will carry forever, and now it is time to show the world how creative I can be.
To say there is only one music would be ignorant and naive....but there is only one music which I will truly ever love,
