This 420, we’re lighting it up in Bristol with an all-
women lineup showcasing the finest selectors in
Reggae, Dub, Steppas, and Dubstep. Expect
deep basslines, heavy rhythms, and high
vibrations in a space that celebrates feminine
energy in sound system culture.
Headlining the night is the mighty VIXEN
SOUND (Glasgow) — bringing heavyweight dub
pressure with her signature style and fire
selections.

Vixen Sound: Vixen Sound has been mashing up
dances all around the world for more than 7 years
now, and with appearances at International Dub
Gathering, HIM Dub Festival, and OBF's Dubquake
and due to play this year's Dubcamp. We are excited
to hear her eclectic mix of dub, steppa's, reggae and
dubstep, guaranteed to get the dance floor skanking.

Em Pressure: Big and bad female energy, born
and bred in the fine city of Norwich. Resident DJ
from Norwich powerhouse Dub, Sweat, and
Beers, and running her own promotions company
here in Bristol ‘Pressure Promotions’ bringing
Expect bass-heavy steppas and delicious dub
melodies, championing female artists and high
energy selections.

Shay-Bae: Roots reggae selecta from the
Cotswolds, Shaybae has been promoting sound
system culture since 2018. As a promoter
previously with ‘Dub from Above’ in Bristol, she
now makes up 1/3 of Stroud based collective
Valley Steppas. As well as a promoter, Shaybae
is an avid vinyl collector with a real passion for
roots music, from Jamaican classics to more
contemporary UK produced riddims. You can
expect to hear plenty of roots and bass heavy
steppas to keep you rocking from early til dun.

Lys Darkgyal: Lys Darkgyal, born in Santiago de
Compostela, Galiza (Spain), is a renowned
ReggaeSoul singer and DJ who has been an
influential figure in the international reggae scene
since 2009. Known for her soulful vocals blended
with Spanish roots, R&B, and reggae, Lys has
developed a unique sound that resonates with
audiences worldwide.
