Flo Perlin is a contemporary singer-songwriter from London, UK with Iraqi and Belarusian heritage. She has been hailed as a ‘true storyteller’ by BBC Radio 6 with a style that blends contemporary folk, jazz and soul. The songs explore themes such as family history, human nature and being good to yourself. Her unique, emotive voice and lush instrumentation draws you deeper into her lyrics revealing more with every listen.

Flo released her first album ‘Cocooned in 2017, her EP ’Stories’ in 2019, a single ‘Life Lives Inside’ in 2021 and her second album ‘Characters’ in July 2021. This album led to Flo gaining a wide international audience, with her single ‘Baghdad’ gaining over 3 million streams on Spotify. This led to a string of high profile gigs and festivals throughout 2022 including Cambridge Folk Festival, Wilderness, Celtic Connections and Americana Festival plus shows at Omeara, EarTH Hackney and The Green Note as well doing her first UK Tour. Flo was invited to do a live performance and interview on BBC Radio 2 for the Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe. She also gets regular airplay on BBC 6 Music, Folk Radio UK and other regional BBC stations.

Having been awarded fundings from PRS Women Make Music, Flo has recorded her third album ‘Clay’. This album will be a milestone in her music career. Resonating with listeners of similarly complex heritages in the UK and internationally, In Flo’s words “ I want others to listen to my new album and find lightness in discomfort, to bring the listener into a private universe where they can be introspective together”. Reviewed by Americana UK as the ‘arrival of a major talent’, Flo Perlin is ready to deliver once again!

Embark on a journey to the North York Moors – a wild and wide-open landscape full of nature and beauty, history and mysticism – through the enveloping music of Amy May Ellis. Raised in a remote dale in the middle of the Yorkshire uplands, Amy’s warm and delicate folk-leaning DIY songs are steeped in the culture, scenery, folklore and wildlife of the countryside that surrounded and shaped her as a child, and continue to shape her understanding of the world today.

Since 2018, Amy has released a series of 4 EPs, each exploring an element; Weathered by Waves, We got Fire, Where my Garden Lies, and When in the Wind have all received support from BBC 6 Music, BBC introducing, Uncut Magazine and Rough Trade. They have also fuelled headline tours around the UK and Ireland and landed Ellis a spot at Brighton’s Great Escape festival. She has guested for artists such as Michael Chapman, Alessi’s Ark, Hiss Golden Messenger, Tiny Ruins, Ryley Walker and Willy Mason.

Bowker & Morse - An a capella folk duo, at once comfortingly familiar and intriguingly new. With subjects ranging from flowers to social justice, their self-penned lyrics frame the old things in new ways, and the perfectly complementary vocals create something soaring and beautiful.
