RHYS JAMES: WISEBOY
Well, well, well. If it isn't Rhys James, the guy who said comedy shows are for losers and blurbs are for idiots. Back here with another comedy show, as explained in this blurb. Unbelievable. As seen on Mock the Week, Russell Howard's Stand Up Central and Virtually Famous. One of the best reviewed comedy shows of 2016.
"A cut above his humdrum peers" Independent
"Sickeningly talented" Time Out
"Physically unimpressive" Scotsman
"A frighteningly good stand-up comedian... I think he could be really huge" Doc Brown Guardian
JORDAN BROOKES: BODY OF WORK
In August 2015 Jordan's Nanna, Gwendoline Martha Brookes, passed away. She was 95. This show is a genuine attempt to pay tribute to her. That can't be the whole thing can it? I thought Brookes did absurdist stuff? Like bits that go on for ages and horrible physical stuff, daft faces, spitting down himself etc? Is he just going to talk about his Nan for an hour? Surely not.
"A breathtaking, hugely original hour" Fest
"Funny and surprising... see Brookes fast before word of mouth fills every seat" Scotsman
