TASTE at The Trinity Centre
See event details

A event held at The Trinity Centre on Friday 11th April. The event starts at 18:00.

Step into TASTE, a one-of-a-kind performance where the simple act of sharing a meal becomes an immersive artistic celebration of the multicultural tapestry of Bristol.

As the meal is prepared, audience members, performers, and participants come together to co-create an unforgettable experience. Through sound, movement and visual poetry, TASTE transforms ordinary rituals into extraordinary shared moments.

Expect live music played with kitchen utensils, embroidered tablecloths coming to life, delicious food, and a burst of communal joy!

Inspired by weekly creative workshops for migrant women at Borderlands, this event is designed with access at its core, breaking down language barriers and allowing participants to shape the performance in real-time.

Poster embroidery by Sherien Elsheikh.

Accessibility:
Crèche available for children under 9 years old (limited places - first come first served on the day - other children welcome in the main space)

BSL interpretation will be provided throughout the event

Quiet space available

Vegan and Halal food provided (no alcohol served)

About the project:
