As Yule approaches, step out of the cold and into The Snug. Join us for an enchanting evening at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol to explore the mysteries of the Winter Solstice. This unique two-part event will delve into the ancient folklore, traditions, and celebrations that surround the darkest time of the year.

December 5th – Krampus Night
We’ll open the winter solstice season on Krampus Night! Explore this Alpine winter demon's mischievous and spooky lore and other solstice legends. Discover how cultures around the world celebrate and honour the power of the darkest night.

December 17th – Winter Solstice Traditions
Leading up to the Winter Solstice, we’ll explore rituals and ways to celebrate this powerful turning point in the year, where light begins to return. Whether you want to create new traditions or deepen your connection to old ones, this evening will inspire.

Both Nights Include:
