See event details

A event held at The Tobacco Factory on Thursday 19th September. The event starts at 19:30.

The People's Comedy is coming to the Tobacco Factory!

Winner - Best Comedy Format in Britain for Midlands and West (Chortle, 2024)
Winner - Best Themed Comedy Night in the UK outside of London (Chortle, 2023)

After 6 years of platforming revolutionary comedy (think non-commercial/original/didactic comedy with a message), and paying out tens of thousands of pounds to grassroots talent, we're pleased to be bringing our night to the Tobacco Factory's Tent and Terrace space.

The night features:
Kev Mud as MC (UK Pun Champion '24; British Comedian Finalist '23; BBC New Comedy Shortlisted)

Alex Bertulis-Fernandes (2024 Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Finalist; BBC New Comedy Awards 2023 shortlist)
Troy Orchard (winner of the Bristol Comedy Chest competition)
Frances Keyton (Finalist: West End New Act of the Year 2022, Max Turner Prize 2022, SYTYF 2022, Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year 2022, and shortlisted for Funny Women Awards 2021 & BBC New Comedy Awards 2021)
Emma Coyne (Bath Comedy Festival New Act Competition 2023, Honourable Mention)
Stephen Bisland (As seen on HBO's Chernobyl)
Mary Flanigan (BBC Northern Ireland’s Comedy Writers Room)

The Terrace bar will be open from 6:30 p.m.

The more we make through tickets sales the more we are able to pay our comedians via our equal pay structure, however we never want price to be a barrier for people accessing the art of stand-up comedy, so we are selling some tickets at a reduced rate. Please only buy these if you cannot afford the general ticket price, to help make our night's the most accessible they can be.

Book in advance to ensure you get a ticket, peace, and see you soon!

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
