The Real SkaDub, formed at a jamming session in summer 2019 by Bristol Reggae legend Jashwah Moses and bass player Oisin RS, includes several members of Moses’ previous band Full Force of Power and their combined experience and energy never fails to rock the crowd with classic reinventions and their own stunning original tracks.
In July last year Jashwah Moses tragically passed away after a battle with cancer, but he left a legacy that is being honoured by his friends both in music and philosophy.

Members of the band:
Oisin RS, Bass and Vocals: Frontman and founder, Oisin bought the band together with the help of his mentor, Jashwha Moses. With polished bass lines and dextrous, honeyed vocals, Oisin has spent over a decade building a career as a captivating performer. As well as playing bass in Full Force of Power and Talisman, he has also shared the bill with the likes of DJ Derek, Lee Scratch Perry, The Skatalites, and Roots Manuver.
Lion, Percussion and Vocals: London born, Jamaica raised, Brooklyn hardened, Lion has played in internationally touring bands over three decades. An original member of Full Force of Power, Lion is a consummate percussionist and true original.
Kaveman, Drums: Hailing from a punk background, Aitol, our resident Kaveman, is a performer of energy and generosity, which he brings in abundance to SkaDub’s vibrant sound.
Tomek, Keys: SkaDub's dedicated and hard working keyboard player, Tomek also designed the band's distinctive dove logo and posters.
Big Chip, Guitar: Sam has established himself in the Bristol scene as a solid talent as guitarist with The Co-operators.
Ben'jammin (AKA Little Ben), Sax: Born into the Bristol and wider festival music scene, SkaDub’s saxophonist has been delivering professional performances from a young age. Ben’jammin, a multi-instrumentalist, has a natural talent and brings arresting hooks to SkaDub’s original sound. Ben is most well known for performing with Full Force of Power and has shared the stage with Lee Scratch Perry and The Skatalites.
Their first LP Beautiful is out now on Bandcamp.
