on Saturday 8th March. The event starts at 10:00.
Join Bristol Apartheid Free Zone for a hands-on training session with expert ACORN trainers to learn door-knocking skills and help build a community boycott of Israeli produce in solidarity with Palestine.
The war on Palestine hasn't ended. The ceasefire in Gaza is fragile, and the war on the West Bank is just beginning – and Netanyahu appears poised to launch another vicious assault on Gaza.
Bristol Apartheid Free Zone (www.BAFZ.ORG) is knocking on every door in Bristol to build a community boycott of Israeli produce in solidarity with Palestine. We call on individuals and households to pledge not to buy and to sign an open letter urging shops to refrain from selling anything produced in Israel.
So far, we've knocked 5,000+ doors, had 2,400+ conversations people, with 1,200+ households signing the pledge – but we need YOU to go out and speak to your neighbours. This session will equip you with the practical skills necessary to build a powerful movement for peace in Palestine!
ACORN, the biggest, best, and fastest-growing community union in England and Wales, built its strength by engaging directly with neighbours on the doorstep. Now, ACORN's top trainers will join us to share their expert door-knocking techniques – there is no better opportunity to learn.
The session includes hands-on training and a focused workshop on door-knocking in Easton.
Please note that there will be childcare provided during this event for anyone who needs it. Please leave a note when buying your ticket if you require childcare.
