Hello Sapians!!! A new year is upon us and the elite flock of this sect of the Galaxy has come together to bring you the following acts!! We hope to fully integrate this solar system into the empire by the end of the year so use your short lived freedom to buy a ticket to this show!
SWEET JUNO -
Sweet Juno is 70s power pop and 90s slacker rock combined. They began in Cornwall under the name “Hummus Boys” and quickly became local favourites in the infamous small-town scene. Having switched members and name, now they’re based in London and Bristol. Recently, they released their eponymous single “Sweet Juno”, along side a sold out headline gig at the famous Louisiana in Bristol. The song captures everything Sweet Juno is: sarcastically melodramatic, caring about everything and nothing, kitschy melodies and shouty and sarcastic vocals.
BATTERY POINT -
Battery Point are one of the most exciting bands to have emerged from Bristol’s rich music scene in recent years. Offering a more fluid take on post-punk with heavy jazz and folk influences, they have headlined venues across Bristol and London. Their singles ‘Shame’ and ‘The Voyeur’ were released to a positive reception from fans and critics alike.
Their latest single ‘Gullsong’ was released in early 2024. Produced by Morgan Jones, the song represents Battery Point’s most ambitious work to date.
COSM -
The sound of COSM is a dreamwave shoegazey explosion that promises more great material and has created a brilliant buzz around the group, both in Falmouth and now beyond.
