It's gettin pretty fuzzy Down Stokes....

You know it's just that good old fashioned Rock n Roll coming out of The Old England. Down Stokes presents Honest Work, Spin Class and Town Houses, three of Bristols own with their own brand of rock, expect Garage Rock, Grunge, Classic 80's metal, reverberation celebration and FUZZ.

Honest Work

“It’s not much, but it’s Honest Work” started as an off-the-cuff mumble, but if you frequent the dive bars of East and South London, you’ll know it now carries a different weight.

Honest Work call themselves a rock band, but beneath their hard-hitting sound lies a more deliberate edge. Weaving garage rock and metal into a raw, unfiltered punch, they balance brash energy with sharp songwriting and a love for the old school.

Spin Class

This ain’t a bedroom workout but Spin Class will make you wanna work out in the bedroom - it’s Roll on the Rocks, with a twist!

5 best mates, fused together in the city of Bristol, to create the up and coming Rock Mammoth that is Spin Class.

Spin Class’ tunes are made up of proggy riffs, hooky melodies baked in a grunge sprinkled, desert rock dessert (even though they live in one of the wettest countries) Their songs touch on the topic of the mind’s eye, breathing life into an ADHD riddled and visually stimulating riff machine. They work together with local artists in music, illustrators and more to elevate their work and community.

Their music videos and live shows are an electric spectacle, only getting bigger and better and sillier with time. Spin Class is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Town Houses

Welcome to the heavy mix of motoric beats and melodic guitars that is Townhouses. Combining elements of 60's psych rock with indie, post-punk, and shoegaze; the Bristol based 4 piece bring a contagious energy to every stage, always giving it their all. Their lyrics report on young hearts and minds... love, madness, masculinity, and much more. In the last year, they've played their first shows abroad, their first Festivals, and many sold out shows in Bristol and London.

Entry requirements: 18+
