CORE
Bristol based artist Khadija Choudhury unveils a specially curated A/V installation with sonic collaborator Will Irving, continuing both artists’ singular statement of creating immersive and dream like installation work.
Throughout paintings and works on paper Khadija Choudhury (1994, UK) explores a terrain of turbulence though excess play and second hand dreaming. The series of romantic works embarks love and obsession relying on the extremes to create a harmonious balance and absurdity.
Will Irving (1995, UK) is a visual artist, composer and producer known for his solo electronic performances, visual work and frequent A/V collaborations. His sonic output explores beauty and emotional resonance within samples, home recordings and old melodies, morphing them into futuristic sound scapes. Utilising a wide palette of sonic textures, expect sounds across spanning experimental electronic, pop, ambient, noise and classical genres.
Live performance of Will’s new composition, ‘I HAVE BUT A PRECIOUS FEW DECADES’, will take place at the opening party on Wednesday 7th August.
