Paradise Lost at The Mount Without
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Boundary-obliterating contemporary theatre in the heavenly Mount Without: ‘Paradise Lost…’ is a one-man dance through the dawn of existence in a divinely comic, wildly inventive reimagining of Milton’s epic poem. Cosmic scale and precise pathos in masterful balance."

A event held at The Mount Without on Tuesday 28th January. The event starts at 19:30.

Lost Dog bring their iconic, critically acclaimed staging of Milton’s epic poem Paradise Lost to Bristol to celebrate the opening of our new theatre.

There is a possibility that God made everything because he was terrified of doing nothing.‍

Featuring a special return to the stage from Artistic Director Ben Duke, Paradise Lost (lies unopened beside me) combines theatre, comedy and movement in a journey through the story of the creation of everything… condensed into 75 minutes.

A single man plays all the characters, creates all the scenes and, despite his best efforts, falls a little short of perfection.‍

A show for anyone who has created anything (child, garden, paper aeroplane), and then watched it spiral out of control.
