Alpaca Presents
AtticOmatic
+ Nobody's Dad Nanda Devi, Amri

Brighton’s Atticomatic resists easy deflation and quite literally dances on the edge of simplicity and discord. Each one of their five members weaves together threads of jazz, post-punk, hip-hop, folk, and electronica. The energy of their live shows resonate with a shared understanding of the pain and beauty of this world

Wrapped in the Bristol music scene are Nobody’s Dad: an artistic blend of shoegaze, alternative rock, and indie. The band hits hard with gritty guitars and pounding drums, juxtaposed with delicate vocals and lyrical hooks. Through their honest songwriting, the group share real life experiences - weaving relationships, mental health, and coming of age in post 2020 Britain.

Nanda Devi, a Funk fusion quartet lay down there sound by drawing influence from old time funk and soul whilst integrating new elements of Jazz, Dance and R&B. For listeners of D’angelo, Butcher Brown & Gil-Scot Heron

Amri blends smooth, sultry edges of jazz and soul within the colourful lyrical melodies reflecting her Carnatic roots. Branching into a range of sounds Amri balances relatable lyrics to a fun fresh groove. She touches on her exposure in the world as a young woman of colour; translating this into getting you to feel, sing and move with her.
