Alice Kim + Potter at The Louisiana
See event details

A gig held at The Louisiana on Tuesday 17th June. The event starts at 20:00.

Hailing from a small Midlands village, Kim’s early musical education came from her parents’ eclectic record collection, stacks of friends' burnt CDs, and endless hours with the family hi-fi system. When she moved to Leeds aged 18, Kim experimented writing on second-hand broken keyboards and cracked versions of Abelton. With her soulful vocals, Kim began to create a sound that was stripped back in it's production, but fully emotive in it's delivery.

Kim's Debut EP, PLAYER TWO, unveils her vulnerability, showcasing a certain maturity that comes with over a decade of understanding herself as an artist. Kim explores the uncertainty and milestones of being in your late 20s, with warm production and soulful emotionally charged songwriting that feels both fresh and familiar.

The magic really happens Live - Kim is an Incredible soul singer. The songs are immense. The band is phenomenal. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of an intimate show featuring one of the countries finest up and coming vocalist.

Then there's Potter! He loves a support slot! Lush songs & trash talk - he's like a warm hug with a big beard.

Entry requirements: 18+
