THE ORCHESTRA at The Louisiana
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Cellar Door’s latest extra spooky audiovisual showcase is an absolute glut of London/Brighton/Bristol talent, with a 5 band bill and 28 members between them (someone buy the sound engineer a beer) - headed up by fidgety weirdo art rock/power pop from Green Man Rising faves The Orchestra (For Now). FFO: Black Country New Road, black midi, Jackie O Motherfucker."

LIVE MUSIC

The Orchestra (For Now)
For The Orchestra (For Now), music is anything but straightforward. The music is panicky but melodic, with builds that dive into hysteria and whispers that launch into screams. While many see necessity as the mother of invention, this group believes that invention is the mother of necessity. Now, as they begin to rise from their measly London beginnings they feel a fear of stagnancy unlike before.

Ideal Living
7 piece art knitwear rock band from Brighton

Townhouses
Townhouses are fans of the abstract, absurd, and downright reckless. Playing in the guise of 60’s psych rock they subvert indie tropes with elements of punk and shoegaze. Their lyrics report on young hearts and minds, topics like; love, lack thereof, madness, masculinity, and much more. The Bristol based 4 piece bring a contagious and captivating energy to any and every stage, always giving it their all with powerful climaxes and trance-like lows. With a boyish dynamic between the band members, they pull their sound in every direction until agreed and later disagreed over petty arguments and pints.

Windshake
Windshake is currently immersed in the creation of their third album. With the
addition of new members Jeev, Blyth, and Max, the band is delving deeper into
progressive rock and jazz influences. This evolution is crafting a sonically rich and
experimental sound that defies simple description

Drain Snakes
They snaked the drain and returned from the punk, post-punk and garage rock depths with the ideal sound for unblocking clogged ear canals. Drain Snakes - take care of your pipes, take care of yourself.
