A
gig
held at The Louisiana
on Sunday 2nd March. The event starts at 20:00.
The last show as Stoneface, and the first as 1000 legs.
STONEFACE IS NO MORE. Adopting the moniker of the millipede with the debut single 'Fleshophone' releasing under their new name, this release show marks both their final gig as Stoneface and their first gig as 1000 legs, alongside other emerging Bristol talents Zalizo and Humdrum.
Stoneface/1000 legs are a jazz-punk-electro-newwave-funforallthefamily five piece based in Bristol. Swinging from genre-spanning, raging pieces to tense ballads their performances have been likened to 'a drunken captain leading a ship against a storm'. Kinetically blessed and endowed with volatile force, Stoneface are an ugly, bestial addition to the southwest scene. FFO: Opus Kink, King Krule, Maruja, Fontaines DC, Brian Jonestown Massacre
Zalizo - Electric, experimental arrangements overhung with lead singer Regina's haunting vocals, Zalizo brings to life a collage of metallurgic beats and surreal melodies.
Humdrum - HumDrum is a Bristol based five piece band that originated through a series of encounters in the city’s vivid jam scene. With an iridescent blend of jazzy rhythms and melancholic melodies, HumDrum explores lyrical concepts of emotion and hardship and also lighthearted, poetic nonsense.
Entry requirements: 16+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
