BUREAU DE CHANGE • www.instagram.com/bureaudechangeband

Bureau De Change is open for business. Their debut EP “Are You Flirting With Me?” was described as “Four Atonal Anthems that combine blistering musicianship, pulpit polemic, time signature jumping and righteous fury”. Guess what? Not enough Bureau de Change for you, they have ep number two on the way with the release of the first single “Dumb Men” coming early 2025.

Flora, Will, Connor, and Louis have been playing all over the UK and Europe with other industry darling projects and have come together to create a sound that truly stands out amongst the ever-growing and developing UK post-punk scene.

The band's recognisable writing style full of sardonic humour and decisive political messaging is carried by their strong feminist undertones, using striking imagery to draw idiosyncratic parallels to the world around them and the romanticised version of femininity. This is juxtaposed by the disjointed musical prowess (or lack of) to create a definitive sense of dissonance. The group has worked together to create a melodic and striking wall of sound that fills your entire body, a band that's strength comes through in their love of performance both live and recorded.

JODIE LANGFORD • www.instagram.com/jodielangfordmusic

Originally a spoken word performer, Jodie Langford turned her talents towards the music industry looking for a wider audience to spread her message and push herself as an artist.
She comes armed with her unique voice paired with an incredible ability to turn observations of the world and her own personal experiences into relatable, thought provoking and often funny lyrical content that tackles everything from downing pints, dead-end jobs and the government, to more abstract concepts.

Always by her side is her trusted producer/DJ, Endoflevelbaddie, who channels her raw unfiltered energy and carves a sound that darts between thrashing Post Punk sensibilities, fevered Techno rhythms and filthy Drum & Bass chaos.

Following the release of 6 singles and a 6 track EP, Jodie has performed alongside the likes of Fat Dog, The Howl and The Hum and English Teacher. She has also performed live on many occasions within the local scene and at festivals such as; Humber Street Sesh, Freedom Festival and further afield at Beat-Herder. She will be making her debut on the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festival this coming August.

She has had airplay on BBC 6 Music, Radio X and is championed by her local BBC Introducing team as well as receiving numerous online reviews and features.

With another EP in the works, and a string of live shows confirmed over summer she continues to provide audiences with ferocious, confident, energetic shows and has been described as one of Hull’s best new artists to keep an eye on.
