EXHIBITION OF THE ARTS - DERMIC EFFIGY

A curated showcase of visual and performance art, featuring painting, photography, soundscapes, poetry, dance, and more. Artists TBA

Work that reflects the outer layer. Envision yourself on the skin of the globe, your work as the skin of your thoughts. Spring arrives, and new skin begins to grow. Your vista takes on greener appendages as the city disguises its bones with grass between the cobblestones. The sculpture is the shell of the egg, the image is skin stretched over a brick wall. Eyes that nitpick a room full of art, scrutinizing it like a new rash or an old mole. Work that is an offering to the formality of a wall, just as grass is an offering to the frenzied soil.

MUSIC LINE-UP:

Ladylike – Brighton’s genre-blending dreamers, weaving post-rock, folk, and shoegaze into lush soundscapes.

The Slow Country – A folk-rock outfit with Manchester roots, crafting introspective yet anthemic songs.

Lipworms – Portsmouth’s high-energy quartet, fusing noise-rock, psych, and techno into danceable chaos.

RABBITFOOT – A collective of musical alchemists, blending pop, rock, jazz, and electronica with electrifying energy.

The American Space – Bristol’s own, spinning surrealist imagery and jangling hooks into a sound that lingers like a dream.
