"En Masse lands at The Island with an evening of gurgling live modular seeping through the cellars! At the forefront of the UK’s late 90s free party scene, Steevio performs his raw, free-form jazz-techno paired with Suzy’s tripped-out visuals. Plus local noize-maker Tina Hitchens with her eye-wateringly gorgeous flute tapestries, eerie electronix & FXX."

A
gig
held at The Island
on Saturday 16th November. The event starts at 19:30.
We’re plunging into The Island’s windowless main room for the first half of Saturday’s programming.
This is a nostalgic venue for us, hosting some of our nearest and dearest parties over the years. We’re so excited to utilse the unique space for the first time this year, bringing together live A/V performances and sonically exquisite DJ’s for what we know will be an incredibly special few hours.
This event will take place first from 6pm, then we’ll move things over to our next venue to continue our revelry from 11pm. Both of these events are included in our Festival Pass.
The full line up for the party at The Island:
Steevio & Suzybee (live AV) - Steevio and Suzybee will be performing a live AV transcendence of psychedelic, and jazz-influenced techno. Steevio’s organic and complex probability-based, modular patterns feel precise yet loose, accompanied by Suzybee’s pure illustrations which take inspiration from the Welsh countryside that they call home.
Tina Hitchens (live) - Bristol-based noise-maker and Brunswick Club’s Tina Hitchens will be performing live improvisational styles of eerie electronics, FX, field recordings and delicate flute compositions. She is known for her involvement with Viridian Ensemble, Bristol’s legendary collective which advocates for womxn in the experimental arts scene.
