The Slimline Shufflers return to their favourite dive bar The Ill Repute this Saturday night, having had a very successful & enjoyable album launch there back in December!
9pm / free entry/donations

"The Slimline Shufflers are a dynamic New Orleans-style blues & boogie-woogie band hailing from Bristol, UK. With virtuosic piano playing and searing harmonica, it's easy to imagine yourself enjoying a bowl of jambalaya on a midnight Mississippi riverboat ride. Drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Professor Longhair, James Booker, and Dr. John, The Slimline Shufflers have honed their unique style over the past 9 years, captivating audiences across the UK. Comprised of Henry Slim on harmonica & vocals, Eric Arthur on piano, Adam Newton on bass, and Max Harrison on drums & vocals, 2023 has seen them record & release their debut LP "Suspicious Blues", which they hope to bring to audiences near & far in 2024!"
