Invicta Promotions is proud to present its official Launch Party, featuring music from TJA, Mentira and the Cement Garden, in the intimate surroundings of The Grain Barge.

Invicta Promotions sets out to be something different in the Bristol music scene - putting artists first and taking the route less travelled when it comes to acts and venues. Keep reading to find out a little bit more about the bands featuring...

THE CEMENT GARDEN

We promise this is one of very few times Invicta Promotions will effectively book itself for a gig, but as it's a launch party let us be self-indulgent.

Now into their 7th year as a band, The Cement Garden bring a fusion of thundering drums, funky basslines, aggressive guitars and raw lyrics in their own unique brand of post-punk. Recommended for fans of SOFT PLAY (formerly known as Slaves), The Offspring and shame.

MENTIRA

Mentira are a 5 piece indie and alt-rock band based in Bristol. Formed in November 2022, the members were drawn together through a mutual love of deception, and their sharp lyrics, blunt basslines, and energetic performances are already gaining word of mouth on Gloucester Road and in the Bristol rock scene.

TJA feat. chucky!

TJA and chucky! will be delivering a sound that stretches across all plains Drum & Bass - focusing on rich, harmonious and funky beats to get you bopping.
