Alma Twist are a soul and jazz band known for their sincere and honest performances. As one fan puts it, “It energizes my soul and expands my heart!” Themes of personal development, current affairs, and the natural ebbs and flows of life are at the heart of their writing.

Formed during the lockdown, Alma Twist self-recorded and released four singles in 2021 from their home studio in Hampshire. These tracks received significant support from BBC Introducing, earning 'Pick of the Week' for both "Fear" and "Nothing's Permanent." In 2022, they performed live on the BBC Introducing stage, solidifying their presence in the music scene. To date, their singles have been streamed over 15,000 times. Their growing popularity led to supporting Nubian Twist on their Freedom Fables tour in January 2022.

Alma Twist recently released a live EP and have recorded new studio singles set for release in the summer of 2024. They have a busy festival season ahead, with performances at Glastonbury, the Isle of Wight Festival, and Secret Garden Party.
