See event details

A gig held at The Gallimaufry on Wednesday 18th September. The event starts at 21:00.

The Gallimaufry and Emily Magpie are excited to announce the start of a new weekly Wednesday night. 'Magpie Presents' showcases female & non-binary artists / bands from Bristol and beyond who are coming up and creating beautiful, interesting music that feels exciting to us.

Emily Magpie is an artist, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Bristol creating dream pop delving into different dimensions. Her recent EP 'She' on Def Pressé has been championed by Tom Ravenscroft, Deb Grant, Nabihah Iqbal and Emily Pilbeam on BBC 6.

For the final date of Emily and her band's residency they are performing reworks of Sylvan Esso. Get ready for dreamy synths, beats, harmonies and to move your feet.

Having recently released her album on Def Pressé, Emily and band have been playing out on tour supporting Dizraeli and at festivals this summer including Nozstock, Green Man, Shambala and Bristol Harbourside (Ampitheatre Stage).

Free Entry. 9PM start.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
