A
event
on Sunday 24th July. The event starts at 17:30.
We invite you to join us in a creative journey through the senses, exploring ourselves and one another through simple tantra techniques and guided body painting.
Dive into a held experience of pleasurable painting, using hypo-allergenic paints to create a playful tapestry upon your partner. We will build trust and intimacy gently and delicately, journeying into an experience of being totally cherished by one another. Expect to come away feeling seen, felt, nourished and inspired.
Through the witnessing of one another we access deeper parts of ourselves, allowing our creativity to flow with joy and ease, and for our deeper selves to be seen and appreciated.
This space is open to both couples and singles. LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly, all are welcome and we endeavour to make this a safer space.
This workshop includes-
Sharing and integration circles
Tantric techniques of eye-gazing and witnessing
Guided Body painting
Cosy nest space
All art materials provided
We ask participants to bring a blanket and/or pillow where possible, to allow the most comfortable experience whilst being painted.
The workshop is hosted as part of a 4 day exhibition, including performances, music, workshops and visual art. You are more than welcome to stick around afterwards, soak in the art and enjoy the rest of the finale shows.
We so look forward to seeing you in the space <3
About the facilitators:
Flora Sidebottom:
Flora is a Bristol based visual artist, musician, youth worker and facilitator. Weaving her yogic training with contemporary tantra and play practices, she creates explorative spaces of healing, kinship, connection and fun.
Holding embodiment and cyclical awareness at the centre, she combines creative practice and ceremonial space-holding with a good dose of silliness and joy! Founder and creative director of the Kinky Ceilidh events, she seeks to bring us back to a juicy and alive awareness of ourselves and the power we hold, through sacred sexuality and through the freedom and joy of living in alignment with our creative essence.
She has worked in a supportive capacity with a variety of individuals with different needs, abilities and backgrounds, and uses this experience to make creative, safe spaces of exploration accessible to all.
Em:
Hello lovely squishy human family!!! My name is Em (they/them) and I am a roaming creative. Through my creative expression and interactions with other beings, I like to forefront a guilt free indulgence in play in hopes that it will help others and myself bathe in all of the freedom that it unlocks. I see this playfulness as an important puzzle piece of the many facets that allows us to enter a state of connection together. My favourite ways to explore this creatively is through dance, poetry and singing.
