Introduction to Performing Stand up Comedy at Bristol Folk House

A event held at Bristol Folk House on Sunday 12th November. The event starts at 13:30.


A crash course on comedic public speaking and comedy club performance skills. Tips and tricks on how to tell humorous stories, deliver jokes and host shows and events.

This workshop is run by Alex Farrow. Alex is the host of award-winning Jericho Comedy in Oxford, as recommended by the Telegraph, the i Paper, Chortle and Sunday Times. His philosophy themed solo shows are extremely popular and have sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019 and 2021. Alex has also featured in the Times as part of the best jokes of the Edinburgh Fringe. As heard on BBC Radio 4 extras The Circuit and BBC Sounds. 5 star Practically perfect - The Scotsman
