Wilko Johnson is a Canvey Island-based bluesman whose choppy guitar style was prominent in early Dr Feelgood. One of the most important additions to the blues canon of the latter 20th century. Wilko is joined on bass duty by the legendary Norman Watt-Roy of The Blockheads. (He's the bloke who plays that un-playable bass line on Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick - any bass player will tell you that it's impossible without 20 years of practice)
