Medieval Inspired Patches Workshop at The farside
See event details

A event on Tuesday 15th April. The event starts at 18:00.

Using kilt pins, fabric, paint and embellishments to recreate old wood cut imagery or using the repetitive symbols and imagery of the time to come up with our own obscure medieval inspired images.
Come along and give yourself (or your mum!) the gift of a space to ground yourself, create and get stuck in the flow state in your own world!
Welcome for all skill levels, learn a new skill as I can guide you to learn basic embroidery and hand sewing techniques!
As it's mother's day, there a couple of cheaper tickets for your mama, so get stuck in!

These sessions are run to build community, creative confidence and to show us that we can imagine a new world together through small acts of creativity and leaning to focus on the process rather than the outcome and creatively problem solve as we go!
This is suitable for all skill levels and depending on your own skill level and style can be as complicated or as simple as you want it to be!
Neurodivergent and queer friendly - learn and create in any which way that feels comfortable to you, come along and make friends and community or take the time and space for yourself to focus in on your own project and get some release, rest and grounding through creativity!
