A
gig
on Tuesday 6th May. The event starts at 20:00.
Bristol Laptop Orchestra (BLO) is taking over The Elmer’s Arms bringing some sonic experimentation. Digital chaos meets live improv. An extended performance of unexpected sampling and the transformation of noise into structured disorder. This event marks the end of BLO’s first era of collective real-time composition, and the next phase is still anyone’s guess. The evening will also feature the feisty gem-duo of David/David.
David/David: A duo exploring the intersections of glitch electronics and free jazz percussion. David/David works with processed textures and live instrumentation, creating structures that are fleeting yet intense. Expect a mix of playful volatility, with acoustic and digital sounds colliding in unpredictable ways. https://www.instagram.com/ddavid_ddavid/ https://eggytapes.bandcamp.com/album/ep-i
