Noods Levels launches TREAD - a new event series focused around music production. Cultivating the next wave of producers with expert production classes from incredible talent.
We're thrilled to be hosting some of the UK's most exciting music producers, who will be sharing their career journeys and giving us vital insight into how they created their iconic sound. With six events to choose from, you'll have plenty of opportunities to learn from the best and get inspired to produce your own amazing music. And don't forget, each talk will be followed by a Q&A session, giving you the chance to pick the brains of these incredible artists and take your craft to the next level.
TREAD is proud to host the first masterclass with the sonic pioneer, Dismantle.
Dismantle has been embedded in UK club culture for more than a decade: DJing with Bristol pioneer DJ Die and releasing with Gutterfunk from 2014 onwards, collaborating with legendary MCs D Double, Inja and Emz as part of Watch The Ride in 2019, and hitting a soulful, broken-beat stride in 2020 under his alias Nuff Pedals with an eponymous debut album. His new imprint STATIONS brings this wealth of experience into full focus, with Dismantle heading up the label’s operations. STATIONS also marks a subtle nod to Dismantle’s early days, looking back to the hybrid underground sounds that first launched his career – whether that’s bashy UK funky, bass-heavy garage, or up- tempo rollers. Expect upfront, direct and uncompromising club tracks, delivered on steady rotation.
His DJ sets reflect his tastes perfectly, weaving through styles in a cohesive manner with one eye always on the dancefloor. Never one to be held down, his musical development can be seen via labels that include Digital Soundboy, GutterFunk, Lobster Boy, Exit Records and 2TE / Warner. Dismantle has also united with Randall, DJ Die and Dismantle to form Watch The Ride – a dance music powerhouse showcasing UK rave culture heritage & future via cutting-edge music and electrifying live performances.
