Chime School Lande Hekt and Silk Cuts at The Cube
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Sell out warning! Sparkling Bay Area jangle four-piece Chime School are a living love letter to 80s indie and 60s rock-n-roll, full of lush layered guitar and watertight pop hooks. In great company alongside Muncie Girls’ treasure Lande Hekt and C86-style three-piece Silk Cuts. Big time delight FFO: The Reds Pinks & Purples, The Go-Betweens, The Stems, Felt, Sarah Records."

A gig held at The Cube on Monday 7th October. The event starts at 19:30.

Chime School live at the Cube all the way from San Fransisco and on Slumberland Records! Marrying the pristine jangle of electric 12-string guitars with nervy, hooky songs, Chime School conjures a unique and instantly recognisable form of indie pop, rooted in the buoyant, driving pulse of the genre’s 1980’s and 90’s forebears, while still locked in a kaleidoscopic stare with its 1960’s originators.

Support from Lande Hekt - Bristol riffy indie pop.

And Silk Cuts - excellent jangle pop from Exeter.

Doors at 7pm

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
