Hellfire Video Club presents WAY BAD STONE at The Cube
£5

A event held at The Cube on Friday 22nd November. The event starts at 20:00.

Greetings Traveller.

Weary from your quest and eager to shelter from the storm brewing outside, you nervously enter an inn. The atmosphere is bawdy and ribald - with barbarians, orcs AND trolls shoving each other, cursing in strange dialects, and engaging in arm wrestling competitions etc. A wizard is huddled in a dark nook at the back, he's doing a spell. It's gone everywhere! You push past this unsightly and intimidating crowd to a door at the rear. You see a bright light flickering from this room. An unpleasant and, frankly, repugnant crowd has gathered in the shrouding darkness to hoot and shout at images magically projected onto a blank wall. Images of things you could n'ery imagine, let alone describe.... you stare in horror.

Do you:

* Enter this back room, and surrender yourself to the terrifying black magic conjured therein?

* Turn and flee into the tempestuous night?

For November, Hellfire video Club have summoned an offering of low-budget fantasy/ swords-n-sorcery films from another dimension, but watch out - these invocations will heavily deplete your sanity meter. WAY BAD STONE (Archie Waugh, 1991) was filmed for $2000 in the enchanted forests of Florida, and is a love letter to Dungeon & Dragons, fantasy fiction, and dressing up as wizards and barbarians... Featuring a killer Dungeon Synth soundtrack, gore, glorious over-acting and A LOT of dry ice - this charming slice of DIY cinema is a joy.

HFVC DJs will be on hand playing oddball records to score an imaginary D&D campaign with before and betwixt the films, so be sure to stick around for further demented sword chinking, rubber faced creatures, and laser zaps.
