Spice Rack Records are excited to bring their first event, Melting Pot, to Bristol’s legendary city centre venue, The Crown. A multi genre night with up and coming artists and some of the UK underground’s finest playing Jungle, Hip Hop, Breaks, Neo Soul, Funk and more. With 2 rooms of artists and DJs from Bristol and beyond, it will be a night with something for everyone, from the gutters to the penthouse, the forest to the city!

ROOM 1:
ZELDIN - Zeldin has been making some face melting waves in the jungle scene in recent years, both with his DJ sets and brassic, break heavy productions that have been racking up tens of thousands of plays and attracting the attention of respected artists in the scene like Bailey. With a seemingly endless supply of dubs his sets always bring the roof down! Expect nothing less from his set at The Melting Pot.

2 QUID - 2 Quid have been taking the jungle scene by storm over the last few years with their name appearing on line ups from Bristol to Amsterdam, often in support of some of the scenes biggest influences. The dynamic duo effortlessly catapult crowds to breakbeat heaven and we’re gassed to have them giving The Melting Pot crowd that same treatment!

SPICE RACK - A new record label and collective of producers and vocalists from Bristol and beyond showcasing projects in Hip Hop, Garage, Funk, Neo Soul and more. This will be a set that travels through the genres, displaying some of the featured artists freshest and upcoming releases sure keep your body moving! Performing on the night: Jim Panik, King Doobi, Bencey, Deep Dean, Palo Faingold, Zepha, Flumz.

OBEDEYA - Since relocating to London last year Obedeya’s name has been appearing on line ups across the city, from Hardcore Hanging to Sexy Lady Massive with her productions and collaborations playing out across Dj Sets and Radio Shows alike. A vocalist and MC of many styles, an avid instrumentalist and producer and a DJ with a rude selection to bring to the table, she demonstrates a versatility that few others do. We’re gassed to have making her Bristol debut at The Melting Pot!

MARKSMAN & DEKKA - Hailing from London, Marksman and Dekka are a jungle DJ and production duo with some of the most uniquely bone rattling releases brewing on the horizon (Trust us, we’ve heard them!). With an arsenal of lesser heard records and USBs loaded with deeper cuts from 1990 til now, these two are as pure as junglists can come! We’re gassed to have them making their Bristol debut at The Melting Pot!

ANDERSONS - The Anderson brothers, individually known as DJ’s Barkley and Ando never fail to get the party started and see it though til the end with class and style! Often appearing with London dance collective Decisive Sounds and never without a hefty supply of dubs and 140 anthems that make it impossible to stay still, these two will be powering the dance with energy and chemistry that will be keeping dance floors moving for years to come!

FB - FB is a Bristol based DJ and producer, specialising in the funky side of life. With his influences ranging from disco and house to garage and grime, his DJ sets are sets to be danced with style and flair! We expect nothing less!
