A gig held at The Canteen on Wednesday 30th October. The event starts at 21:30.

Free entry!

Tango Calor was founded by bandoneon player Mirek Salmon (BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Welsh National Opera, Royal Shakespeare Company). It is a collective of musicians with a shared love of Argentine tango music.

He is joined by guitar virtuoso Daryl Kellie described by D'Addario Strings as 'Truly Stunning' and local Latin legend Jimi Can on vocals and percussion. The band has played all over the UK for tango events and festivals like WOMAD, La Linea and Glasto Latino. They've performed in Italy and France and are often called on to accompany visiting Argentine artists.

Expect a mix of classic tango music, a nod to the great Astor Piazzolla and a few surprises on the way!

Entry requirements: 18+
