Monte is a two man band from south of Marche, Italy. It started off as a bedroom music session in South London, where the duo moved in 2013. Hugely inspired by the early UK jazz, dub, garage and house movement, Monte incorporate acoustic drums with synth and electronic instruments in both their live set and studio production.

In 2020 they released Adriatica EP which was written, composed and produced in their own North London studio. Musically, it was inspired by afrobeat grooves, dance floor and sound systems energy, while the artworkʼs major themes are homesickness and cultural identity.

Jamaal is the duoʼs latest work released in 2022, 2 self produced tracks that blend Uk garage, Future and Organic House.
