The Joff Lowson Trio at The Bristol Fringe

Joff Lowson is known as ‘One of the UK’s foremost banjo players,’  his showmanship gets feet tapping, whether singing his own self-penned songs or traditional mountain music.Joff has appeared on BBC Radio 1 as well as graced stages worldwide including the mainstage at Glastonbury, sharing them with luminaries such as the Blue Aeroplanes, Peter Rowan, Hayseed Dixie, and The Kaye Brothers Flying Circus.His latest collaboration is The Joff Lowson Trio, With renowned  musicians Dave Brown (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Mike Pryor (vocals, double bass)Playing an eclectic mixture of Americana, Bluegrass, Victorian showpieces, Appalachian songs, and previewing their forthcoming new album which is a mixture of lyrical, vocal and instrumental songs each infused with a distinct warmth and inviting vibe.For those drawn to Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Woody Guthrie, Joff Lowson Trio is a perfect fit.
