St Patricks Day with Joe & The Temperance Two at The Bristol Fringe
See event details

A gig held at The Bristol Fringe on Monday 17th March. The event starts at 20:00.

Joe & the Temperance Two were brought together through a love of the fiddle tunes and translantic folk music. Musicians Joe Mansfield (fiddle) and Kai Carter (guitar) were joined in 2021 by Yannick Allerton (a fresh ‘lock down’ adopter of claw-hammer banjo).

Finding and sharing these swift, chordal, hypnotic rhythms has moved this trio from hosting sessions in punk pubs, to street gigs outside student bars and now on to folk audiences.

A highlight to date was being asked to open for heroes Tatiana Hargreaves and Allison de Groot for their date at Bristol Folk House in 2023.

2025 has a lot in store for this energetic trio, including a busy touring schedule and the release of their anticipated debut album.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
