Utopia: 17th March | St Patricks Day at The Brass Pig
See event details

A clubnight held at The Brass Pig on Monday 17th March. The event starts at 20:00.

Who Was Paddy the Party Boy?

Legend has it, Paddy wasn’t a fan of pagans, was petrified of snakes, and famously banished them from Ireland after they tried to mess with him during a 40-day fast. Some say he was one of Jesus’ boys, roaming around Ireland in nothing but a bit of cloth to keep his privates private. The scholars? Still scratching their heads.

What we do know is that he was knocking about around 400 A.D., loved a booze-up, and we love to remember him for it.

We reckon St. Paddy’s Day should be a year-round event, but until the world catches on, let’s celebrate the ol’ Saint properly! Throw on your finest Irish gear (not compulsory, but highly encouraged) and join us at Bristol’s arguably best boozer—The Pig!
